Plastic Surgery Overview

Plastic Surgery and MedSpa in Orlando, FL

Once you have scheduled surgery, you will return to our office during the week preceding your procedure for a preoperative visit with your surgeon. Your history will be reviewed once again and a physical exam conducted. This will be another opportunity for you to ask questions and address any concerns you may have. You will be asked to sign a consent form authorizing permission for the procedure. Digital photographs will be taken if they were not already obtained during your initial consultation. You will be given a packet containing preoperative instructions, information about before and after care relating to your procedure, and any necessary prescriptions for after surgery. In some cases, you will be asked to pre-register for your surgery and obtain necessary lab or X-ray studies prior to your procedure date.

On the day of your surgery, you will need to arrive one and one half to two hours prior to your scheduled surgery time. You will be brought to a preoperative holding area where you will change into a surgical gown. You will meet with an anesthesiologist to discuss your anesthesia, and an IV will be started. You will be seen by your surgeon who will perform preoperative markings. After you have been prepped, you will be taken to an operating room for your surgery.
