Restylane® Refyne in Orlando, FL
Like you, many men and women in Orange County and Central Florida want to reduce lines and wrinkles but still maintain a natural appearance. In these cases, our board-certified plastic surgeon, Kendall Peters, MD, FACS, and physician assistant, Kristen Neilson, MMS, PA-C, may recommend Restylane® Refyne treatments.
What is Restylane® Refyne?
Restylane® Refyne is FDA-approved to treat moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. The injection is made of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in our bodies. Restylane® Refyne uses patented XpresHAn Technology™, which creates a smooth, injectable gel that can give your skin a natural, soft look.
Am I a Candidate for Restylane® Refyne Treatment?
Board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Kendall Peters, and physician assistant, Kristen Neilson, PA-C, may recommend Restylane® Refyne for treating certain types of wrinkles around the mouth, chin, and nose, such as smile lines and marionette lines. The treatment is most effective for patients between 35 and 65 years old.
How is Restylane® Refyne Administered?
Restylane® Refyne injections are very comfortable for most patients. We use a very thin needle to make several injections along the wrinkle. You may experience a slight pinch followed by a sensation of pressure as the gel enters the skin layer. Treatment times take less than an hour, and maintenance treatments are even quicker.
How Many Treatments of Restylane® Refyne Will I Need?
In clinical studies, most patients achieve the desired results with just one treatment. We do advise our patients that the binding of hyaluronic acid with water is a gradual process, so full results may take at least two weeks.
How Long Do Restylane® Refyne Treatments Last?
The results of your Restylane® Refyne treatment may last six to 12 months. The longevity of the treatment depends on your individual metabolism and how quickly your body absorbs the gel.
How Much Does Restylane® Refyne Cost in Orlando, FL?
Costs associated with Restylane® Refyne treatments is based upon the number of injections and volume of gel that is needed for your case. We are not able to provide accurate information until Dr. Peters or Kristen develops a personalized treatment plan. After your consultation, we will explain the associated cost, as well as our convenient payment options, including cash, check and credit card.
