Twelve months after a Hybrid Abdominoplasty performed by Dr. Kendall Peters, the after photo shows a flattened abdominal wall with the low horizontal scar visible at the bikini line. The patient is a 55-year-old woman, 130 lbs, and the hybrid approach combines elements of a full abdominoplasty with liposuction to address both skin laxity and abdominal contour in a single procedure. You can see in the before photo that loose skin and tissue were present across the lower and mid-abdomen. At the one-year mark, the scar has matured and the abdominal wall sits noticeably flatter.
