Motiva silicone gel implants, placed using a dual-plane technique, were selected for this 40-year-old Hispanic patient weighing 145 lbs. The dual-plane approach positions the implant partially behind the pectoralis muscle and partially behind the breast tissue, a configuration that works well when there's existing breast tissue to account for. You can see in the after photo that the breasts sit higher on the chest wall with fuller upper-pole volume compared to the before image, where the tissue sat lower. Dr. Kendall Peters planned the case around the patient's existing anatomy and frame to arrive at an implant choice suited to her proportions at that weight.
