Juvederm® Vollure in Orlando, FL
Vollure is Allergan’s newest injectable filler for facial rejuvenation with a unique hyaluronic acid cross-linkage that is ideal for the nasolabial folds, oral commissures, marionette lines, and lips. This product lasts up to 18 months, making it one of the longest acting Juvederm® products. It has an extremely soft, smooth, and silky texture that is associated with significantly less swelling and lumpiness as compared to many of the other injectable fillers. This product can work for anyone, but it is especially perfect for those seeking a more subtle effect or for mild to moderate facial lines and volume loss. Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is one of the first and only locations in Central Florida that offers this brand new product!
What is Juvederm® Vollure?
Juvederm® Vollure is Allergan’s newest injectable filler product. Its hyaluronic acid creates temporary facial improvements, targeting nasolabial folds, marionette lines, wrinkles, and loss of volume. Juvederm® Vollure contours the face, diminishing features that age the face, with long-lasting results.
This hyaluronic acid injectable filler recently gained FDA approval for U.S. use but has been used in Europe for some time. The Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is one of the first providers to offer Juvederm® Vollure treatments in Central Florida.
Am I a candidate for Juvederm® Vollure?
Good candidates for treatment using Juvederm® Vollure experience unwanted facial wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds, lip lines, marionette lines, and oral commissures. To determine if Juvederm® Vollure is right for you, our Med Spa staff will evaluate your facial features, assessing if this filler is appropriate to produce the improvements you seek.
How is Juvederm® Vollure administered? How long does it take to get this treatment?
Juvederm® Vollure is administered using a fine-gauge needle to make injections into targeted locations across the face, along nasolabial folds and their extensions. Juvederm® Vollure is applied along the jaw, nose, and/or mouth to add volume, which smooths deep lines and wrinkles while improving facial contours.
Some patients report minimal discomfort due to the use of the needle in applying Juvederm® Vollure. In such cases, a topical numbing cream can be administered to the treatment area beforehand, to reduce discomfort during the procedure. Juvederm® Vollure does contain lidocaine, which minimizes discomfort during treatment.
Treatment can be completed in under 30 minutes – patients can return to regular activities immediately following their office visit. Results are immediate, and full correction can be seen within one week of the procedure.
How many treatments of Juvederm® Vollure will I need?
Juvederm® Vollure produces desirable results in just one treatment! Depending on the severity of the nasolabial folds or facial volume loss being treated, a higher volume of Juvederm® Vollure may be used during treatment. Because the hyaluronic acid creates only temporary results, patients may wish to undergo maintenance procedures to keep up the appearance produced by Juvederm® Vollure treatment.
How long do Juvederm® Vollure results last?
Treatment with Juvederm® Vollure produces temporary but long-lasting results. Patients can expect to see results for up to 18 months. Follow-up treatments can be scheduled to refresh results, so the patient may enjoy the benefits of treatment ongoing.
