Tiny injections of BOTOX Cosmetic® into the muscles that cause frowning and squinting will render these muscles inactive resulting in a smoother, more relaxed appearance.  Botox® has been used in healthcare for decades, but recently this procedure has gained extreme popularity for cosmetic uses and is safe and affordable.  Repeated squinting, frowning, and furrowing of the brow can create wrinkles along the forehead, between the eyebrows and at the outer corners of the eyes (“crow’s feet”).   Botox® injections relax, soften, and smooth these wrinkles and lines.  It usually takes between 3 and 7 days following injection until Botox® takes effect.   The injections typically last 3-4 months at which time they may be repeated.  Since this is a non surgical procedure, there is no significant downtime required and you can return to work immediately.
